TRAINING ON BUILDING AND ENVIRONMENTAL SIMULATION USING ANSYS FLUENT
Building and Environmental Technology Expertise Group, Architecture Major, FTSP of Trisakti University held a TRAINING ON BUILDING AND ENVIRONMENTAL SIMULATION USING ANSYS FLUENT for lecturers. The Training was held on Monday – Tuesday, April 8th – 9th, 2019 in Computer Laboratory, 9th floor of C Building, FTSP – Trisakti University.
This training aims to master one method in conducting micro-scale thermal environment research, including conducting measurements and modeling directly with a 1: 1 model and through modeling simulations using a computer program. Computer modeling is an easy and relatively inexpensive solution to compare the performance of various building designs and areas.
The training was given by Suhendri, ST, M.Sc a lecturer who also researcher in Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). The training was followed by 6 lecturer of subject (KBK) of Building and Environmental Technology, 1 represented the subject of Architecture Design and 3 represented subject of Urban and Settlements.
In this training, participants practice simulating air movement and temperature in confined spaces and areas using the ANSYS Fluent
program, which is a Computational Fluid Dynamics
